JPEG, PNG, WEBP, TIFF, BMP, and PDF. Max size depends on your plan.

Which OCR languages can I choose?

English, Persian, Arabic, and the mixed pairs English+Persian and English+Arabic.

How long are jobs retained?

See our data retention policy. You can delete jobs from the dashboard when signed in.

Can I use Textora without an account?

Yes for interactive OCR. History, billing, API keys, and webhooks require an account.

How do I authenticate the API?

Use an API key with Authorization: Bearer, or session cookies for browser clients.

What do job statuses mean?

PENDING/QUEUED wait for workers; PROCESSING runs OCR; GENERATING_OUTPUT builds artifacts; COMPLETED, FAILED, or CANCELED are terminal.
